WAYS OF GIVINGWhen you give, your gift makes an immediate and direct impact on the lives of the students, faculty & staff, and programs of LTC, Greater Acadiana Region 4. By supporting student programs, alumni programs, and academic areas funded by the Annual Fund, you help the Louisiana Technical College Greater Acadiana Region campuses to continue as premier institutions of higher learning. LTC, Greater Acadiana Region 4 Foundation has helped to make workforce training more accessible while improving training programs throughout the Region. Individuals, corporations, foundations and organizations join the Foundation in these worthwhile endeavors by making annual gifts, participating in fund-raising events, memorials, major gifts, in-kind donations, and by establishing and contributing to scholarships. Gifts can be given in various ways:Unrestricted Gifts: When a donor makes an unrestricted gift, they do not specify an area that will benefit from the gift. Instead, the gift is directed to the Region’s seven campuses by the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, which receives input from the Campus and Regional Administration. Resources are invested in the areas of greatest need. Restricted gifts: Making a restricted gift allows you to designate a specific use for the funds, such as support for students, faculty, facilities or various Campus programs. When you contribute, you may choose to earmark your contribution (i.e.: the campus of your choice, the program of your choice, etc.). How to GiveThere are several ways to donate to the LTC, Greater Acadiana Region 4 Foundation. Each offers the opportunity to make an immediate, direct, and lasting impact on the students and programs of our Region. Please call the Foundation at (337) 262-5962 – Extention 259 to discuss how you can make a difference. CASHBy simply writing a check (or securely charging a donation to your major Credit or Debit Card via PayPal), you will immediately help fulfill the Foundation’s mission. Cash gifts are always welcomed and needed. Annual giving keeps the Foundation operating and giving back to the college. PLANNED GIFTSThere are a variety of ways to make planned gifts to the Foundation that will not deplete lifetime assets and provide significant tax deductions. Ways to include the Foundation in your estate plans include bequests, life insurance, charitable annuities, retirement funds, trusts and real estate. APPRECIATED STOCK OR OTHER SECURITIESThe Foundation accepts stocks or other securities as donations. By contributing a long-term appreciated stock or other security, you are helping secure the career goals for students. TRIBUTES AND MEMORIALSGifts to honor an event or an individual are a great way to pay tribute to a person or occasion (such as an anniversary, birthday or new family member). The Foundation informs the honoree or family member of the gift with a note (the gift amount is always confidential), showing that you care not only about them, but also about the future of our Region. IN-KIND DONATIONSThe Foundation accepts in-kind donations, such as training equipment, computers, and vehicles that the Region needs or that can be readily converted to cash. Please contact the Foundation to see if your item(s) can further the educational goals of the college’s students. Questions? Wish to donate? We can help.
