MISSION & ABOUT US

The Louisiana Technical College, Greater Acadiana Region 4 Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization that raises funds to support students, training programs, faculty, and initiatives of the LTC, Greater Acadiana Region.

The Foundation was formed and incorporated in 2002 with a goal of advancing career and technical education within the Greater Acadiana Region. This mission is fulfilled via the generous investments towards the advancement of quality training programs, scholarships, and raising of support within the communities served.

The Foundation was established to support the mission of the LTC within Region 4 by providing the additional resources necessary to ensure success. The Foundation will enhance the College's image within the community, broaden its base of support, communicate to the public its responsiveness to local needs and provide the College with a measure of excellence for its educational programs and services.

Mission of the Louisiana Technical College

The Louisiana Technical College (LTC) delivers instructional programs which provide skilled employees for business and industry that contribute to the overall economic development and workforce needs of the state. The LTC provides individuals with quality and relevant learning opportunities consistent with identified student and business and industry needs within a life-long learning environment.

The mission of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System is to prepare Louisiana's citizens for improved quality of life, workforce success, and continued learning.
